THE FARM will be making it’s Grand Ole Opry Debut on Friday, Feb 10th in Nashville TN.   This milestone comes after the Opry invited the Warner/Elektra recording artists to be part of Friday’s show in celebration of their first single, Home Sweet Home, which has been soaring through the Top 40 at Country Radio.

“This is the biggest honor of my career,” says Nick Hoffman of the THE FARM, “I have dreamed of playing the opry as an Artist since I was a little kid, and to be able to share that moment with Damien and Krista, with a hit song on the radio is nothing short of a dream come true.”

THE FARM is having a big week, with their debut music video for “Home Sweet Home” also being released, a string of live shows under their belt, and their song hitting 35 of the charts in just a few short weeks.

Though the teasing has been going on for quite awhile, I finally am proud to announce that I officially signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville, and famed record label Elektra, as part of the country trio The Farm in April 2011.   The Farm has been a project that has been in development for a little over a year, and something that I’m completely excited about.   Together with Damien Horne, Krista Marie, and myself, we have set out to make music that will be something fresh for the country music genre.  The combination of 3 distinctly different singers, and the fiddle, create something unique, and something that I am very proud of.

I am also the co-producer, along with my good friend Danny Myrick, of the The Farm’s music, and we have spent the better part of the early part of 2011 in the studio shaping the first album for our group.

We are currently visiting radio in anticipation of the release of our first single “Home Sweet Home” which should begin to hit radio sometime around August.   You can hear that single by going to the link below.

Last weekend was the beginning of a new project that I’m producing for my good friend Stephanie Layne.  We spent a long day at Blackbird Studios in the Famous Room D with a world-class band. My friend and long-time partner in crime, Ben Strano, engineered some great sounding tracks.

Stephanie is a fantastic artist, and I’m looking forward to diving in over the coming weeks to help her move forward in her musical journey.
